Upgrade Notes
On March 18, we'll be upgrading our Confluence wiki software to version 5.7. Below are some highlights of the improvements in this release. Display an attachment in a wiki page
You can show a thumbnail image of any attachment (including Office files) in the body of a wiki page:
Preview an attachment in your browser
Click on an attachment thumbnail to open the file in your browser, without having to download and open the file in its native application:
Inline commenting
While viewing a page (you don't have to be in editing mode), you can now add inline comments by highlighting a block of text and clicking the comment icon:
Cleaner editing interface
The updated editing interface lets you see more of a page as you edit, and moves the toolbar above the page title/breadcrumbs:
Roadmap Planner macro
The new Roadmap Planner macro (Insert > Other Macros) allows you to create simple visual roadmaps for your projects:
