Important:

  • If a user's name does not appear in your search results, the user may not have a wiki account yet. Tell the user to log in to the wiki (which will auto-create the user's wiki account). Read more about what you can do when User cannot be found via search.

  • If you know a user's MyAccess ID, instead of searching by name you can enter the MyAccess ID in this format: 123456@ucsf.edu (instead of sf123456).

Go into your space, click the Space Tools menu (bottom left) and select Permissions

Click the Edit Permissions button

In the Individual Users entry field, start typing the user's name and select it from the drop-down menu that appears, then click the Add button.

Note:  If the user's name does not appear in your search results, he/she may not have a wiki account yet. Tell the user to log in to the wiki (which will auto-create the user's wiki account).

If a user's name still cannot be found, check other causes and what to do when a user cannot be found via search.

You may email the wiki administrators if you need further assistance.

Check/uncheck desired permissions for user. To remove a user, click the Deselect All link.


To give someone space administrator access, click on all the permissions boxes for the individual.

Click the Save All button
