Welcome to the Calisphere/Shared DAMS user group workspace. This is a place for anyone in the UC Libraries to collaborate on questions and planning related to Calisphere, the DAMS, and related products.

Notes, agendas, and documents

The group meets on the 4th Wednesday of every other month at 1:00pm. The dates are also posted on our Community Calendar. Want these meetings on your calendar? Email us at oacops@cdlib.org, and we'll send over a recurring calendar appointment.

To facilitate sharing notes, we are utilizing a running notes document. Please "request access" to view the notes, and we'll add you in as an editor.

  • Agenda:
    • Our colleagues at the UCR Library will highlight their exploration, testing, and implementation of Omeka-S, to support a range of use cases.
    • As part of the forthcoming implementation of a systemwide ILS (SILS), the Digital Collections Functional Group is exploring the potential to improve and leverage the discoverability of digital resources through Alma/Primo. We'd like to discuss and hear your early considerations as this group investigates potential strategies.
    • Last, we'd like to introduce a cross-campus project framework we will be implementing, where you can nominate your collections for metadata analysis and remediation. In this framework, the analysis and proposed metadata changes could be supported by staff at other campus libraries.
