In a nutshell The two major focuses of this release will be to a) open up the DAMS to campus library partners for new content and active editing and b) develop wireframes for the public interface. Depending on the velocities of these two sub-projects, we may stage them as separate releases.
Goals (by product component - see descriptions here)
DAMS	Additional collections loaded (number and which TBD) Initial customization of the Nuxeo user interface Documentation available for campus library users DAMS "open for business" for new content, metadata
Public Interface	Timeline for roll out: what will be launched on day 1 and what features/tools will be staged next User interface design (wireframes, information architecture) Statement of work, vendor selection for graphic design Research into campus libraries' needs for curating and customizing UCLDC content sets
Collection Registry	Build out collections "staging" dimensions and policies to track new content coming in
Central Index / API	Proof-of-concept for developing one aggregation stream, for potential integration with DPLA Renewed discussions with UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCSB about harvest options, co-development for Fedora-based protocols
