Please join us for the second University of California Digital Library Forum (UC DLFx) conference, taking place May 20-22nd at UC San Diego.
When: May 20-22, 2019 (Pre-conferences on May 20, sessions May 21-22)
Where: UC San Diego campus, Atkinson Hall at the Qualcomm Institute
In its second year, UC DLFx brings together UC librarians, digital technology experts, educators and other leaders from across UC to share insights and experiences and seek new opportunities for collaboration. This year a dynamic mix of presentations, posters and panels cover a diverse range of topics including inter-campus collaborations, managing digital projects, UC-wide initiatives and more. There will also be ample opportunity for less structured "unconference" and networking activity.
Our keynote speaker this year is a longtime UC colleague, Dr. Clifford Lynch, Executive Director of the Coalition for Networked Information
Prior to joining CNI, Cliff Lynch spent 18 years at the University of California Office of the President, the last 10 as Director of Library Automation. Lynch, who holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, is an adjunct professor at Berkeley’s School of Information. He is both a past president and recipient of the Award of Merit of the American Society for Information Science, and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the National Information Standards Organization.
